About Ronald D. Eastman II

Ronald D. Eastman II is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of President of Eastman Protective Agency®. He is also the author of the book, Return to Your Senses, which he wrote to help others protect themselves and find their purpose by relying on inherent gifts and abilities.

Ronald’s role as the guardian of an elite public figure protection company, which also provides threat management services to its clients, is the culmination of a childhood vision, years of specialized training, and extensive experience in both executive protection and lifestyle management.

Mr. Eastman was born in Los Angeles and raised in Pasadena, California. He discovered his passion for safety and security at the young age of 9. At this time, his mother and father briefly separated, and his mother left the family home. While his other siblings (two older sisters, an older brother, and a younger brother) stayed with their father, young Ronald insisted on accompanying his mother to ensure her safety. That first night away from home, he stayed awake, watching out the window to make sure no one broke into the car that held many of his mother’s possessions. He went without sleep for 36 hours, keeping an eye out for anyone who might do harm to his mom. A few days later, his parents settled their differences, and he and his mother returned home. Though brief, this experience lit the flame of Mr. Eastman’s passion to protect those at risk.

When he turned 18, Mr. Eastman joined the United States Army in order to protect our nation. He was in the Army from 1988 to 2001, serving in combat and becoming highly decorated. While in the Army, he developed the skills needed to master the protection of life; he received specialized training in hostage rescue, reconnaissance, treatment of trauma patients, logistics, and military combative techniques. He shared his expertise by training foreign military units in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Japan, and the Middle East.

After leaving the Army, Mr. Eastman joined one of the largest executive protection firms in the world. During his 9-year career there, he served as regional manager and senior field agent for the firm while it tripled in size.

Mr. Eastman then responded to an offer of becoming President of a multi-million dollar corporation, managing all aspects of a major entertainment mogul businesses. During this time, he was able to hone his skills on lifestyle management.

Mr. Eastman emerged from these experiences with the necessary expertise and vision to return to the executive protection field and start his own unique company, Eastman Protective Agency. With its corporate office located in the metro Atlanta area, and satellite offices in Los Angeles and Nashville, it is able to rapidly deploy its security teams throughout the United States and overseas.

This elite firm runs on three principles: quality of security over quantity of clients, creating the safest environment possible, and providing threat management services and counseling to all.

Throughout his career, Mr. Eastman has provided both executive protection and logistical management for many of the world’s most prominent public figures.
